The Riverdeck Cafe can be found at the rear of the Alpine Visitor Information Centre on Gavan Street (the Great Alpine Road) as you drive or walk through the centre of Bright, Victoria. Of course the cafe can also be accessed via Riverside Avenue.
This cafe was only a short walk from our accommodation at the BIG4 Bright Holiday Park and we called in for morning tea before setting off on the Canyon Walk along the Ovens River. As the name suggests this lovely cafe has a large deck that overlooks the river, walking path and children's playground. It is busy place for breakfast with seats in the sun popular on a crisp autumn morning. Of course there are plenty of seats inside - you order at the counter and then meals or coffee are delivered to your table. We enjoyed lovely coffee and friendly service.
Riverdeck Cafe is open from 8 am - 5 pm everyday with extended hours Saturday and Sunday to enjoy some tapas while listening to live music. They are fully licensed and just a short walk to almost anywhere in town.
Highly recommended as a lovely place to eat in Bright
