These centres are open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm and I found the staff in all three to be friendly, helpful and happy to share local knowledge of this beautiful area of Victoria. The Bright Infornation centre is co-located with the Riverdeck Cafe and can be access either from the main road (Great Alpine Way) or through the cafe via Riverside Avenue.
Bright is situated a very popular tourist destination both during summer, and for access to the Victorian snow fields during winter months. The information centre has a range of maps (including rail trail from Wangaratta to Bright), accommodation or dining options as well as things to see and do in the area. They also stock a very good range of local produce and wines.
This should definitely be your first stop when arriving in Bright.
