Alpine Hotel - Bright

Alpine Hotel Bright or AHB can be found at the clock tower on Andrews Street, Bright Victoria. It was a Friday night in Autumn and we had been advised to book for dinner as it was almost school Holidays and the town becomes very busy. The band was not booked to start until 9 pm so we booked in the Dining Room for 7 to make sure we would be finished our meal. 

The service was very friendly and the meals were generous. They serve a range of pizzas in the main bar which can also be ordered at the tables. The Dining room had a good atmosphere with lots of people enjoying dinner – order from the bar and they bring meals to table.  Schnitzel was crumbed with herbs served with chips and salad which was just lovely. Bottle of wine reasonable.

This is a lovely old building with plenty of seating inside and out. Road works were being undertaken at the roundabout and it was a bit dusty during the day.  AHB was within walking distance of our accommodation at the BIG4 Bright Holiday Park and I would not hesitate to return for a lovely meal when next in town.
