Bright Holiday Park

Bright Holiday Park is an Escape 2 Holiday Parks member and one of largest caravan parks we have seen with a huge number of cabins, several amenities blocks and a range of campsites. It is located near the centre of Bright on either side of Morses Creek – a road and a walking bridge cross the river within the park. 

Campers were set up on the foreshore of the creek and it was like you were on a river bank in the middle of the bush. Beautiful. Plenty of fires around the park and these can be hired from the office where you can also purchase wood.  We saw lots of people sitting round their fire pits and enjoying some family time or taking the opportunity to make new friends.  Lots of kids riding and playing in the grounds and it had a real holiday feel with Mini golf, swimming pool, spa, playgrounds and lots of space.

Bright Holiday Park has a number of camp kitchens and barbeques at various locations around this huge complex. One camp kitchen was fully enclosed with TV. As mentioned above there are a large number of cabins of varying sizes – river spa cabins, river cabins, cedar cabins and holiday units.

This is an amazing park covering about 25 acres and, yet, walking distance to town. While we were there a local producer was driving around the park selling berries, hazelnuts, walnuts and jams – I love supporting small producers and buying their locally grown items. Lovely feel in this park with a number of people enjoying outdoors.
