Bright Riverside Holiday Park

Along the banks of the Ovens River, on the opposite side to the main shopping area of Bright you will find the Bright Riverside Holiday Park. This is just a short walk across a footbridge, or a traffic bridge crossing the River on Star Road to access all the cafe's, restaurants and pubs in town. This caravan park is a member of Family Parks with several camping and caravan sites located on the banks of the Ovens River. 

What a beautiful relaxing spot with a number of fire places to sit back watch the flames and enjoy a glass of red. It is a large park which also has a number of cabins overlooking the water. 

This appears to be have older facilities but had a very relaxing feel with plenty of space and lots of children running around. We visited the park during Autumn and it appeared as though they were expecting to get quite busy over the school holidays with a number of port-a-loos in place to cater for the extra people.  

A very convenient location with access to both the Canyon Walk and the Cherry Walk along the banks of the Ovens River. It is also conveniently close to the Bright Water Splash Park where we saw a number of kids enjoying the splash pads, water canons etc. A very good spot for a family holiday.
