The Longreach Showground is located on Kite Streets - turn of the main highway just beside the caravan daytime parking spot (a great facility near the centre of town).

The Longreach Showgrounds is a well maintained area with a range of facilities

  • oval and grandstand
  • rodeo arena
  • stables and yards
  • pavilion
  • roof shelter
  • bar and cold storage room
  • kitchen 
  • toilets and showers
  • potable water tap and dump point

Camping at the Longreach Showgrounds is limited and you will need to contact council to find out if you are eligible to apply for a camping permit.
