The Longreach Street Parade was held on the Easter Weekend and apparently only happens once every two years. It was lots of fun to see the community get involved - lots of Easter eggs were thrown into the crowd.
The parade included men on motor bikes followed by little kids on push bikes dressed up in all sorts of outfits – very cute. Old fire engines and vintage cars joined in the parade - some of the floats were decorated. Quite a lot of fun attracting a good crowd of locals and visitors.
A market was held after the parade which was popular and mostly aimed at children for Easter.
