While staying in Longreach, Queensland, we decided to walk down town from the Longreach Tourist Park for morning tea and visit the Tourist Information Centre.  On the way back to the caravan we called into the Longreach RSL Memorial Services Club for a bottle of wine to take home for dinner.  

This is a lovely looking club which is open most days and has a happy hour (varying times), bar and bistro as well as the takeaway bottle shop. We were greeted by a lovely young man at the door who was more than happy to help with our request. The club was cool inside and they serve lunch and dinner.
