Town and Country Caravan Park - Townsville

This is a small caravan park located about 10 minutes from the city centre.  There are plenty of trees for shade and slab sites for caravans, as well as unpowered camping sites. The Town and Country Caravan Park can be found in a busy commercial area and next to the showground.  

I understand there is a pub within walking distance for meals and the park is not far from a large shopping centre with a variety of shops including a supermarket and service station.

The owners were friendly and welcoming - happy for us to look around. The amenities appear to be well maintained and are conveniently located in the centre of the park. This would be a convenient place to stay when visiting Townsville.
