Cbar - Townsville

Wow what a great find during our stay in Townsville.  We cycled form our accommodation at Rowes Bay Beachfront Holiday Park and arrived at CBar about lunch time.  Approached the waiter who immediately found a table for us - luckily one had just been vacated on the deck overlooking the water and Magnetic Island.

A lovely glass of water quickly appeared on the table to help the red faces after the ride and then we ordered soda water with either a slice of lemon or lime. The waitress added both in a beautiful big glass with ice - delicious.  Lunch came out quickly and was also delicious (quite reasonably priced), and then we noticed locally brewed beer on the menu - of course we had to try one (Townsville Bitter Premium).  I wish we could have stayed all afternoon enjoying this beautiful location and friendly atmosphere.

I highly recommend CBar - great service, great food, great spot.
