Greys Beach is a south facing beach in Geraldton with access from Marine Terrace. This long beach is protected from northerly winds and is apparently a very popular swimming area. We visited Geraldton during November and there were really strong winds (as seen in the photos) which made Greys Beach perfect for kite surfers. The wind was so strong that the sand was blowing off the beach over the surrounding roads.
We watched in awe as several kite surfers performed amazing twists and turns in the air - they were extremely good and got lots of height off the waves. Of course the message on the footpath made me smile.
