The Restorers Barn - Castlemaine

During our stay at the BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park we took a walk around town to look at some of the historical buildings in this beautiful town in Victoria. We came across an extremely interesting old building that houses the Restorers Barn – what an amazing shop if you are renovating an old house or just want to find something retro. 

This shop has a huge range of treasures and we had a great time wandering aroundlooking at all the old stuff – some just on display but most for sale. Of course some of their range is relatively new and is made to fit in with restorations of old homes. Restorer's Barn even have a range of newspapers from the past – what a great gift to find a paper from the day one of the family were born.

You could spend hours here just looking or ask the friendly, helpful staff for that perfect item. This is a must if you want to match hinges, door handles or fittings – you will not believe the range. They sell furniture kitchenware, tin toys doors, gates, you name it.  Open seven days a week  - Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5.30 pm and Saturday or Sunday from 10 am – 4 pm.
