The Mill is an old Woolen Mill in Castlemaine which is being re-purposed with various outlets, and, one of these is Coffee Basics Das Kaffeehaus. This very popular cafe is open seven days a week - Monday to Friday 7 am – 4 pm and Saturday or Sunday 8 am – 4 pm, (closed public holidays).

Das Kaffeehaus is located across the road from the BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park and an easy walk to enjoy a great cup of coffee each morning. There are seats available inside and out and we found it a very relaxing place to spend a few hours chatting over morning tea.

Highly recommended by locals.
