Mount Isa Caravan Park is on the Barkly Highway (Marian Street) as you drive into town from Cloncurry, and is within walking distance to the Tourist Information Centre and Woolworths supermarket. Just across the road is The Overlander - a licenced hotel and restaurant.

There are a number of shady drive-through powered sites as well as self-contained villas, family units and budget cabins. This park has all the amenities -

  • swimming pool
  • shop
  • children's playground
  • dump point
  • camp kitchen with free gas barbeque
  • two amenities blocks
  • the park is dog friendly.

This seems to be quite a large park and is convenient to town - very popular during the Mount Isa Rodeo weekend.
