Cape Gloucester Beach Resort near Hideaway Bay is about 54 kilometres from Airlie Beach. This is a beautiful resort on the beach with a variety of accommodation options - open plan cabins, two-bedroom cabins, and "motel style" units - all close to the beach and the pool.
Cape Gloucester Beach Resort was designed to be a small, environmentally sustainable resort and is a very relaxing spot to enjoy a holiday. The staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to show us around. The Oar Restaurant and Bar area have great view of the ocean and tables are provided in lovely shaded spots overlooking the pool or the beach. This is a very popular place for lunch and was very busy on the day we called in to look around.
