Carnarvon Gorge - Mickeys Creek - Rolleston

Mickey Creek and Warrumbah Creek are both along the same track from the main road in Carnarvon National Park. This walking track commences about 1.5 kilometres before the Carnarvon Gorge Visitor Centre and was a good walk to complete on the afternoon of our arrival. Plenty of car parking and tracks are well defined through the bush - walking maps are available from accommodation.

This particular track takes you along Mickey Creek and rocky sections can be slippery so please take care on creek crossings.  Keep an eye out for  swamp wallabies - often seen resting here.  We came upon several small wallabies as we rounded a bend and stood very still to admire them before continuing.
