Carnarvon Gorge Wilderness Lodge - Rolleston

Carnarvon Gorge Wilderness Lodge is along the entrance road to the Gorge and a lovely setting with safari style cabins dotted around the palms and trees. They are adjacent to Carnarvon National Park and a great place to stay with daily tours and lots of information about the surrounding area.

We visited the Discovery Centre within the grounds of the Wilderness Lodge which has a DVD playing continuously which tells you about the area, walks and what to see. They have great informative displays of plants and animals and a table of rocks from the gorge to identify and feel.  

Carnarvon Gorge Wilderness Lodge has a, a salt water swimming pool, licensed restaurant with and alfresco deck area - a great setting to enjoy your meal, devonshire tea, espresso coffee or cold beverages. Plus the added advantage of viewing some of the local wildlife.

I would not hesitate to stay in this beautiful setting.
