Carnarvon Gorge - Amphitheatre - Rolleston

The Ampitheatre in Carnarvon Gorge, Queensland, is one of the things to see when exploring the walking track through the Gorge. There are a few steps then a steep climb up a steel later to enter the small opening that leads into the natural amphitheatre. 

This has been created by water washing away a boulder that has been dislodged from cliffs. Very interesting - a 60m deep chamber with resounding acoustics. 

Definitely worth the climb up the ladder.
