The Emerald Showground can be found on the Capricorn Highway as you head out of west from the Emerald Botanic Gardens. The Showground also allows caravan parking and camping for a short stay. They were charging $25 per night and they have new amenities – separate rooms for unisex showers and toilets. Sites look to be relatively flat with plenty of space for large caravans or motor homes.
