Acraman Campground - Flinders Ranges NP

Acraman Campground is one of the camping areas provided for visitors to the Flinders Ranges National Park. This camping area can be found on Bunyeroo Road as you head past Twin Gums Lookout - about 30 kilometres from the Wilpena Pound Resort.

Acraman Campground is not suitable for caravans and pets are not allowed in the National Park.  Tent sites are clearly marked and toilets are available for visitors with a rain water tank providing water. Camp fire areas are provided with barbeque plates but I understand you will need to provide you own wood. The sites are gravel with plenty of trees around the campground to provide shade.

There are a limited number of sites at this location and permits are required - check at the Wilpena Pound Visitor Centre - fees are payable to enter the Park and for camp sites. This area is for self-sufficient campers and a handy base for exploring the Heysen Trail, and Bunyeroo Gorge.
