Mossman Gorge - Main Swimming Hole

The Mossman Gorge's Main Swimming Hole is just a short walk from the Shuttle Bus Parking area along a raised boardwalk. This boardwalk is wheelchair accessible but there are steps leading down to the water. Make sure you take your towel when visiting the Mossman Gorge as you may feel like a cool dip in the swimming hole after walking around the rainforest circuit track. Be warned the water can be very cold.

I was lucky enough to see a Ulysses Butterfly fluttering around the vegetation at the edge of the water - a brilliant blue colour and very beautiful.
