Mossman Gorge - Mossman River Lookout

Mossman Gorge is in Tropical North Queensland about 20 kilometres north of Port Douglas - a highly recommended day out.

The shuttle bus will take you from the Mossman Gorge Centre to the Gorge itself and a boardwalk leads from the bus stopping area to the lookout.  This boardwalk is accessible by wheelchairs and the Mossman River Lookout has great views into the Gorge and parts of the rainforest.

There were a number of families swimming in the water near the lookout and steps lead down to the rocks on the edge of the river - be warned the water can be very cold.
