Ash's Café is focused on providing mouth watering local Gulf seafood - particularly Barramundi, King Threadfin (known as King Salmon), other local fish species and of course Gulf prawns and mud-crab (the mud-crab is as available and dependent on current values). Fresh cooked Gulf prawns or Ash's own special local crumbed prawn cutlets, fish can be grilled, battered (Ash's own special recipe), crumbed or steamed. Other options include green/garden salads, Ash's own potato cakes, and a range of fresh crumbed chicken strips, pieces or the usual burgers, toasted sandwiches and other café options. Ash's own Special Chicken Burger and the Barra Burger are firm favourites.
Breakfast options include bacon, eggs, sausages, grilled tomato, scrambled eggs and cereals, Ash's homemade fruit salad, greek yoghurt and lots more. Available 7am to 10am daily.
Then there is great coffee, a whole range of options, Ash's own mango or berry smoothies using our delicious soft serve ice cream or frozen yoghurt. You can takeaway or BYO and enjoy in the outdoor covered seating area and we provide room service for our guests.
The Cafe is open 7 days a week, 7am to 7.30pm.

Ash's Holiday Units and Cafe is a well known place at Karumba Point to get take-away fish and chips. They have tables set up in the shade to enjoy your meal, or shop inside for bait and tackle if you want to try and catch your own Barramundi. Ash's Café is open seven days a week and offers a wide selection of meals, drinks and snacks (as well as fresh Gulf seafood).
Ash's Holiday Units are a popular place with fishermen visiting Karumba Point as they are just across the road from the beach and a short drive to the boat ramp. There is room outside the units to park your car and boat - the Sunset Tavern is just across the road.
