The Karumba Heritage Walk has been created as a walkway/cycle path from Karumba Point to Karumba. Cycle or stroll on the board walk through the mangroves - there is warning to be aware of the tidal flows as this area can be inundated with water during high tide.
We cycled on this path one afternoon and our round trip was 14 kilometres according to the Garmin. The path itself is only about 3.8 kilometres each way but we wanted to ride around the streets of Karumba as well. It can be very hot so make sure you take lots of water and keep an eye out for the local bird life, crabs and kangaroos - I was hoping that there were no crocodiles around.
