After spending some time canoeing and paddle boarding along the Lawn Hill Gorge in Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park we packed the car and set of on the short walk to Duwadarri Lookout. This lookout is on a ridge behind the camping ground with sinpost clearly pointing out the start of the track.
This is a short walk return walk from the camping ground of about 600 metres, but can be quite difficult as you head up a fairly steep ridge to reach Duwadarri Lookout. I had my walking stick to help navigate the path - very useful on some of the steep rocky sections. It which is definitely worth the effort for stunning views over the beautiful Lawn Hill Gorge.
After reaching Duwadarri Lookout we continued along the cliff towards Indarri Falls Lookout and then returned to the car parking area via the creek bed (dry) - a much less difficult walk on the return leg.
