Derby Visitor Information Centre is located in a new building on Loch Street, Derby Western Australia. You will see a wonderful display of beautiful photographs of this part of the Kimberley and there is a very comfortable viewing area to sit, relax and think about what you would like to do. Daily tidal information is on display so you know when to head down to the wharf - tidal differences can be up to 12 metres in Derby.
Derby Visitor Information Centre has a great range of locally produced artworks and souvenirs for sale. You can find all sorts of books, maps and DVDs on the west Kimberley Region. They offer a free booking service for tours and accommodation as well as some airline bookings - Virgin Blue and Skywest.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information we needed to explore the area during our stay in town.
