The Windmill Cafe is located off Hardman Street in Derby, Western Australia. We rode our bikes to the cafe from the Kimberley Entrance Caravan Park to have morning tea - just across the main road and the area is very flat. The cafe has a takeaway counter and restaurant as well as a beautifully shaded outdoor eating area. We sat outside and enjoyed our coffee plus a homemade chocolate muffin served with ice cream - this was large enough to share.
There is plenty of car parking space at the front of the Windmill Cafe and we found a secure area to lock up our bikes. They advertise that they serve award winning coffee and I must say it was very nice.
