Chinaman's Rock Lookout is just south of Kalbarri on the wonderful cliffs that overlook the town and the Murchison River. There is car park overlooking the mouth of the river and walking trails lead to Chinaman's Beach and Chinaman's Rock and the lookout. Halfway along the track is a memorial to the Zuytdorp - a ship that was wrecked off the coast of Western Australia leaving no survivors. There are plenty of seats provided at the lookouts to relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the ocean, Kalbarri and the surrounding countryside. Beautiful contrasting colours of red dirt, white sand and blue water. Be aware that the wind can be very strong.
