Caledonian Hotel - Echuca

The Caledonian Hotel (The Cal) is a lovely old pub in the middle of Echuca with a great covered verandah wrapping around the corner of the building.  It is within walking distance to the shopping precinct and not far from the historic Port of Echuca - a popular spot to visit in town. Accommodation is available at the Hotel and I understand that the rooms are large enough for families. There is a beer garden between the bistro and accommodation so it shouldn't be too noisy and parking is free.

I did not get a chance to eat at The Cal but have been told that the meals at the bistro are very good using local produce - open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are tables set up outside on the footpath so you can enjoy a drinks while watching the passing traffic in busy Echuca.
