Echuca Visitor Information Centre

The Echuca Moama Visitor Information Centre is located in the Old Pump Station, beside the bridge across the Murray River and is a great place to start your holiday in this popular tourist destination. The staff are friendly and helpful with information on accommodation and attractions within the area - a full booking service is available. During our first trip to Echuca we organised a cottage through the Visitor Information Centre and this was perfect, within walking distance to the Historic Port and Beechworth Bakery.  

The twin towns of Echuca Moama are an easy two and a half hour's drive from Melbourne with lots of restaurants, cafes and interesting shops. This a very popular spot over the weekend and was extremely busy during our last visit in December.  The Echuca Moama Visitor Information Centre also sells a range of local wines and produce - it is definitely worth a visit. They can provide all the information you need on where to eat and drink, entertainment, local tours as well as attraction. Remember to take a ride on one of the old paddle steamers that depart from the Historic Port in Echuca.
