Victor Harbor Visitor Information Centre can be found on the Esplanade along the foreshore of Encounter Bay - next to the Causeway and horse drawn tram leading across to Granite Island. There is a large car park beside the Visitor Information Centre that has enough space to park while towing the caravan (some of these spaces require you to purchase a parking voucher from the machines located throughout the car park).
This Centre has a large range of brochures, maps and event guides, with plenty of suggestions on what to see and do in Victor Harbor and the Fleurieu Peninsula region of South Australia. They have an interesting range of souvenirs as well as local products for sale, with a kiosk and public toilet located nearby. The Visitor Information Centre can make accommodation and tour bookings for you in Victor Harbor and the surrounding area.
They are open from 9 am - 5 pm seven days a week (closed Christmas Day). We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful - happy to spend time with us even though it was almost closing time.
