The Renmark Paringa Visitor Information Centre is housed in a log cabin on the foreshore of the Murray River in the CBD area of Renmark. This is a very convenient place to stop as you drive or walk along the beautiful Renmark riverfront (Murray Avenue).
We always make it a point to start our holiday with a trip to the local Visitor Information Centre and pick up some brochures and a map of the area. Renmark Paringa Visitor Information Centre has a great range of tourism information, a small theatrette, interpretive display, Internet access, free tea and coffee as well as a large range of locally grown produce and hand made gifts (souvenirs).They are the booking agents for several river cruises and the historic PS Industry is moored behind the building - trips on this paddle steamer fun at regular intervals.
Renmark/Paringa are in the Riverland area of South Australia surrounded by vines, orchards and magnificent scenery. There are plenty of things to do in the area - rose gardens, golf courses, wineries, wetlands, boating, fishing, historical buildings etc.
