Angove's Winery Cellar Door is located on Bookmark Avenue, about 5 kilometres from the centre of Renmark in South Australia. Angove is a family owned winery that has been operating since 1886 and has a huge range of products. They not only have a great range of wines but they also have St Agnes Brandy, Greens Ginger products and a wonderful Gin - Blind Tiger Gin.
Angove's is well sign posted, has plenty of parking and provides shaded picnic tables on the grassed area outside the cellar door. The interior of the cellar door is air-conditioned, spacious with plenty of seating and a range of local produce for sale.
The lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely time at Angove's and purchased much more than we anticipated. I would highly recommend the Blind Tiger Gin incorporating handpicked organic botanical plants - this is smooth enough to drink on ice (no mixers required for this beautiful gin).
Angove's Cellar Door is open for Sales and Tasting from 9 am - 5 pm weekdays, 10 am - 4 pm Saturday and 10 am - 3 pm Sunday and most public holidays.
