Pines Park is an area at the end of the Esplanade in Hervery Bay (Pialba) which has a fantastic view over the water. You may have guessed from the name that his park has a number of Cypress Pines growing along the waterfront. Pines Park is a long narrow parkland with picnic tables, barbeques, children's playground (some covered with shade sails), great spots to eat lunch or enjoy a refreshing drink in the shade. Public toilets are available and there are plenty of parking spots.
There are a number of rock pools just off the coastline to explore during low tide and a nice long beach. It was late afternoon during our visit and locals were out exercising their dogs in this lovely part of Hervey Bay. The Pines Park was a short bike ride from our caravan at Scarness Beachfront Holiday Park.
