Outback Caravan Park - Tennant Creek

The Outback Caravan Park at Tennant is well off the main highway along Peko Road – same road as the information centre. This is a large park that has seen better days. The staff were welcoming and we were able to choose our own site for the evening which was long, well shaded and flat.

This park has a number of shipping containers used as cabins which are quite bare - I guess these are the budget cabins. They have a small shaded swimming pool and petrol bowsers.

• amenities - laundry
• dump point
• reception selling grocery items
• pets allowed - check with management

This was a convenient base to explore the town.
