The Narrabri Big Ski Caravan Park on Tibbereena Street is only about a block from the Narrabri RSL Club. We decided to walk to the Club for dinner and ate in the dining room called the Outback Shack Bar and Grill which is open for lunch and dinner.
They had a traveller’s special $22 for a roast of the day and dessert – lovely. The Club is very welcoming and was full of families enjoying a night. The RSL club observed a minute silence in the early evening and guests are asked to stand to remember our fallen soldiers. The club has the usual facilities - poker machines, pool tables, sports TVs, several bars, raffle nights, bingo entertained, and a courtesy bus.
The Southern Cross Motor Inn is located directly opposite the Narrabri RSL Club in Maitland Street and offers charge back facilities for guest - very convenient.
We would not hesitate to return for another meal during a next trip - friendly service, good food and very close to the caravan park.
