Nyngan Riverside Tourist Park

Nyngan Riverside Tourist Park is a lovely caravan park just outside Nyngan on the Bogan River - when driving from Cobar it is located on the right hand side just before the Barrier Highway intersects with the Mitchell Highway. We were allocated a drive-through site which was very convenient as we wanted to stay hooked up to the car overnight - able to choose our own site. Our site was positioned alongside a lovely shaded and grassed area so we set up our table and enjoyed dinner in the open air - it was lovely to see grass after spending time out west.

Facilities include: 

• cabins of various sizes - from basic rooms to deluxe family cabins   
• drive-through powered caravan sites - some with ensuite 
• powered and un-powered camping sites
• clean amenities - laundry
• camp kitchen - barbeques - fire drums located throughout the park (camp fire wood for sale at kiosk)
• dump point
• children’s playground
• group booking shelters with power, water and BBQs - function Room
• pets welcome
• Kiosk - bait and water ski equipment, plus vending machine  

The park is set well back from the highway on several acres with large shady trees - it has river frontage with boat access. Some of the cabins overlook the Bogan River which is very popular for water sports - there were several people skiing up and down the river during our stay. The reception area of this park has quite a lot of memorabilia on display and I found this very interesting. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful - we enjoyed our stay at Nyngan Riverside Tourist Park.
