Nyngan Visitor Information Centre

The Nyngan Visitor Information Centre is located in Railway Square off Pangee Street in the centre of town - look for the helicopter. The Nyngan Museum is housed in the same historical building near the railway station.

We had plenty of room to park our caravan outside the Visitor Information Centre which is next to Davidson Park with public toilets and picnic tables. Unfortunately it was almost closing time so we did not have time to look through the Nyngan Museum. The staff at the Visitor Information Centre were most helpful and gave us some brochures and information about the area. There is a takeaway shop directly across the road that sells coffee and is popular with the locals.

The Nyngan Visitor Information Centre sells a range of locally made goods including wooden products made at the Nyngan Men's Shed, hand towels, crocheted bookmarks and many other items.
