Lilyvale Rest Area is located between Wilcannia and Cobar on the Barrier Highway in NSW. It looks fairly new with great covered picnic tables, garbage bins and clean toilet facilities. The rest area has a long sealed driveway off the main highway that provides plenty of room for trucks and caravan parking.
While having our lunch we noticed that the fence behind the rest stop had been decorated with hub caps from cars, and someone had left their crutches hanging from a nearby tree. Interesting decorations - well worth a photo.
