The Coryah Gap Carpark is a great stopping point as you enter Kaputar National Park from Narrabri in NSW. The Mount Coryah walking track begins at Coryah Gap carpark and climbs steeply up the ridge - circles around the summit of Mount Coryah, providing views to the south, east and north and returns past the base of the summit. This return walk is about 2 kilometres.
Next to the Car Parking area are maps showing section of the National park, information signs and picnic tables - a good place to get your bearings before proceeding to Mount Kaputar.
As you enter the National Park pars of the road are unsealed and can have sections with deep ruts due to the water run off after rain. Then it it sealed the rest of the way.
