Located halfway up the road to Mount Kaputar within Kaputar National Park is the Doug Sky lookout. This is a great place to stop and enjoy the spectacular scenery of this beautiful part of NSW - known as Big Sky Country and you can see for miles.
This lookout has a ramp to access the viewing platform. It was named after the man who oversaw construction of the winding road up Mount Kaputar. Doug Sky lookout is the ideal spot for landscape photography as you can see in our photos - the patchwork of farmland below and rugged ranges in the distance. There is space beside the lookout to safely park off the road and enjoy the view.
