Bark Hut Camping ground is the located half way along the road to Mount Kaputar within Kaputar National Park. It is the first camping area you come to on the main road in the park on the right hand side and is very well appointed. There are numerous picnic tables scatted around the area in shaded spots and a lovely covered barbeque area – free gas or electric - great views.
The amenities block is very good with flush toilets, hot showers and a change area in this clean facility. The fee for camping is $6 per person per night and $3.50 for children (Under 5 no charge) - 2016.
Self registration boxes are located at the campground and you are asked to Pay and Display (ticket) upon arrival - correct change is required for you stay in Kaputar National Park.
This is a lovely shaded spot with a number of walking trails nearby - I would not hesitate to camp here.
