Mount Kaputar National Park is close to Narrabri in central NSW and highly recommended for a day out when staying in the area.
Green Camp within the National Park is a picnic spot at the start of the spectacular Yulludunida walking track. This is very popular with bush walkers and has a scenic lookout with views of Yulludunida bluff that seems to change colours in various light throughout the day.
The road to Mount Kaputar can be steep in some sections but definitely worth the trip.
