The Rural Museum at Gunnedah can be found on the Oxley Highway, not far from the centre of town. It is one of Australia’s largest collections of early agriculture and transport memorabilia - with over 1600 exhibits.
An small entry fee is payable and this museum is open seven days a week (closed Christmas Day and Good Friday). Volunteers are available to direct you through the museum and answer any questions you may have.
The Rural Museum has a souvenir shop on the premises and a great spot for the kids to see some of our history.
