On our first morning in Denham we walked to the Shark Bay Discovery Centre and stopped at the Saltwater Cafe for morning tea. You can't miss Saltwater Cafe which is located beside the Post Office/Newsagent/Chemist/Gift Shop - yes the one stop shop.
We found out that most of their cakes were homemade so we ordered a chocolate brownie to share with our morning coffee. I found the service friendly and helpful plus the coffee was great. We enjoyed it so much we headed back a few days later for more. There is a covered verandah along the side of the cafe so you can enjoy your food overlooking the waters of Shark Bay.
They have interesting sayings on blackboards around the shop and one that I thought was very true -"It is only when you see a mosquito landing on your testicles that you realise there is always a way to solve problems without using violence".
