Frenchman Peak is in Cape Le Grand National Park - about 50 kilometres from Esperence in Western Australia. All the access roads are sealed and this looks to be an amazing granite outcrop. There is a walking path up the side of this enormous rock face and we could see people at the top looking out over the National Park and the southern ocean.
We did not have enough time to do this climb during our visit to Cape Le Grand National Park during this trip, but this is definitely on our list for the next visit to this beautiful area. Car parking is available at the bottom of the walking trail to Frenchman Peak, and signs detailing this climb are located on the path nearby. Keep an eye out for the beautiful wild flowers that were growing alongside the paths.
