Robinvale Hotel

Robinvale Hotel is located on the main shopping street of Robinvale in Victoria - Bromley Road. It is within walking distance of the Robinvale Riverside Caravan Park and houses an authentic Thai restaurant, the Mali-Thai.  

We called in one afternoon for a drink and to look around the premises. There is a large outdoor covered area to enjoy a drink on a hot day but unfortunately this is also a smoking area with a TAB machine for gambling. The dining room is basic but neat and tidy and they happily allowed us in before evening opening time, finding us a menu to look at while enjoying our drink in the front bar.

The front bar was full of locals enjoying a beer and playing pool but we found a table to sit while studying the menu - drinks were reasonably priced. We ordered our takeaway Thai which was delivered to the table as soon as it was ready. The outside of the Hotel is a little run down, but the service was friendly and the food delicious. I would highly recommend the homemade spring rolls and homemade curry puffs which were the nicest we have had for quite some time.
