You need to be aware of Quarantine restrictions when travelling interstate - especially into the large fruit growing area known as the Riverlands in South Australia.  As the saying goes "if in doubt, throw it out" as this will help protect these very important agricultural industries. As you travel into South Australia you will need to stop and the checkpoint and open eskies, caravans, boots etc.  

There is a small booklet available for information - A traveller's Guide Australian Interstate Quarantine, which I found this very useful when caravanning around Australia (available from most visitor information centres). I think this is important so please abide by state regulations.
