Ventnor Hotel - Port Vincent

The Ventnor Hotel is conveniently located on the corner of Main Street and Marine Parade, Port Vincent - just a short walking distance to the Port Vincent Foreshore Caravan Park. On our first night in Port Vincent we went for a walk around town and ended up at the Ventnor Hotel during happy hour - what a great atmosphere and lovely view over the water.

Later during our stay we headed to the Ventnor Hotel for dinner and it was lucky that we had booked a table as the dining room was full. It was a lovely meal with friendly service - you order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. My husband realised the next morning that he had left a very expensive pair or sunglasses at the table so we returned to see if someone had handed them in.  The waitress had noticed them on the table soon after we had left the night before and quickly put them safely behind the counter - what wonderful service.

The Ventnor Hotel is very popular with locals and visits - magic views from both the bar and dining room, friendly staff, generous meals and ice cold drinks. They also have a gaming room, TAB, Sky Channel and budget accommodation with shared bathroom facilities - plus a Thirsty Camel Bottle Shop. I understand they they have a courtesy bus service if you live or are staying further away than our accommodation at the caravan park. When next visiting Port Vincent we will definitely go back to the Ventnor Hotel for a drink and meal - great country service.
