Inland Sea - Point Turton

On our trip from Point Turton to Port Vincent on the Yorke Peninsula we called in to the Inland Sea Restaurant and Seafood Sales outlet to purchase some local South Australian Fish. (Plenty of room to park while towing a caravan.) I wanted to find some smoked fish and was told that this was the place to go - we came away with smoked swordfish and mackerel as well as pickled Scallops and chili prawns (in jars). They also sell bottles of their special Kilpatrick sauce (used in the restaurant) and this is absolutely delicious for Oysters Kilpatrick.  

Opening Hours for the retail outlet are Monday -Saturday from  9 am-5 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm (during winter they are closed Monday and Tuesday). The entry to the shop is easy to find - just look for the Blues Brothers seated on chairs near the door. Inland Sea sell a range of locally caught seafood.

The Inland Sea Restaurant is well known for quality seafood and I understand tht people travel from all over for a meal, corporate function or even a wedding. Again the food is sourced locally from land or sea so they cater for all tastes.  The Restaurant is open Wednesday - Sunday for Lunch (12 pm to 2 pm) and Wednesday - Saturday for Dinner (6 pm to 8 pm).  

Inland Sea is centrally located at the bottom of the Yorke Peninsula - about 4 kilometres from Warooka and 8.5 kilometres from Point Turton.
